I wanted to sign the guest book so that I might be able to thank everyone
involved with The Bomb Tech Memorial Foundation for honoring those who gave
their lives to protect the lives of others.
I also wanted to thank my aunt... Easter C. Miles... to know her, is to know
that she is an amazing person.
I had asked her if she would bring a poem I had written and leave at the
memorial for my grandfather from me, but she thought it better to share it with
those who attended the dedication ceremony.
My aunt called me after that evening and shared with me how much it had touched
so many people.
I was profoundly honored when she told me that The Bomb Tech Memorial Foundation
had asked her permission to have it become a permanent part of the memorial.
To know that the words I had written for my Grandfather will live on, and
continue to reach people, is to have been given the priceless gift of being able
to honor him forever, and for that, I truly do not have enough words to express
my gratitude.
Sincerely,
Francine A. Mc Lean

Thanks to everyone who made this memorial possible. This memorial is a reminder to us all that we must train, train, train, so that we can keep from adding more names to this wall.
God Bless those bomb technicians who have already given their lives so that others could be safe. We will never forget their sacrifices. May God also bless their families for their losses.

What a wonderful tribute my very dear friend Fran's poem was to her grandfather, Joe Lynch, who died in the line of duty so very long ago. I'm so sorry that her family lost a beloved father/grandfather, and I would like to thank them and each and every one of you who lend your loved one's to keep the rest of us safe!
